I've never been one to really buy accessories, specifically jewelry. Honestly, I'm too lazy to pay, say, $30 for a bracelet. But lately, being a little over a month shy of turning 21, I've been thinking about statement jewelry. There's a boutique I like at home in Charlotte called Poole Shop, and though it's the size of a shoebox, they stock some pretty great stuff, especially unique baubles. A current favorite of mine? Resin Reproduction Scrimshaw bracelets by Jessica Kagan Cushman. Her chunky, resin bangles all have witty slogans carved in, and though the price tag may mean a month of babysitting for some of you, it's an investment piece! (well. That's MY justification.)

Sorry I've fallen off the face of the earth/Rachel Bilson

first off, sorry I haven't posted in basically 2 months..school has been KILLING ME. But Christmas is just around the corner, and that means that I will have a little bit more downtime. But to all my loyal readers...here's something new to look at!

So, I've never really cared about Rachel Bilson before. I never really got into The O.C., and while I was slightly jealous that she was dating Adam Brody-what? I was 17-she was still just kind of "there". But lately, she seems to be EVERYWHERE, and her outfits...well, I kind of covet them. She's casual and polished, and actually wears clothing that FITS...j'taime!



ps: are the Ray-Ban Wayfarers suddenly everywhere or is it just my imagination, and, on that note, is it bad that I want a pair?
